Chew Your Cud

Etymology:

• In the 15th century farming was one of the major sources of income for many people. They used to have a barn of their own, where they kept goats, sheep and cows. These animals eat food in large quantities and they often spit it out and start chewing it again. They eat food in different steps and they are interesting to note but it is a lengthy process. Writers observed this habit of these animals and gave the title of deep thinking to chewing cud.
