Green with Envy

Etymology:

• Colors are often believed to describe things around. As the color red often represents anger, someone with red face clearly shows his or her anger. The color blue is considered to be describing feelings of sadness and loneliness. In the 17th century, Shakespeare used the color green to describe expression of a jealousy and also desire to get what other have. He used jealousy as “green sickness in his famous plays Cleopatra and Antony.
