Hang in There

Etymology:

• This is an American idiom originates from the boxing where a fighter is exhausted, but willing to win may hang on the ropes around ring or opponent’s arms. By doing this, he’ll not get punched and will take some rest for few seconds to motivate himself to fight again. This expression doesn’t actually refer to hang in something physically, but figuratively speaking, we need hanging in somewhere, to give us a boost.
