One-Track Mind

Etymology:

• The rail structure is such that the railroads have two tracks as a minimum. Trains can go in opposite directions on different tracks without the possibility of crashing. On the other hand, if the railroads have only one track, a single train can go to the destination at a time. Similarly, one track mind means the person who thinks only in one direction about a particular subject.
