  • Cake was considered to be a very good and popular prize in the past. During the ancient Greek times, one who was able to stay awake all night at a party was the winner of the cake. During 19th, the winner couple of a dance competition was given cake and that dance of their win was known as Cakewalk. Now, this particular African-American expression is associated with the one who deserves the best.
