Dog Days of Summer

Etymology:

• The ancient Roman astronauts knew that the Dog Star named Sirius rose and set with the sun throughout the hottest weeks of the year, July to middle of August. They anticipated that the Dog Star shared its heat with the sun to create extra hotness. Therefore, nowadays, people call these hot days as the "dog days." People are likely to get fed up and exhausted during dog days of summer because it's so hot outside.
