Climb the Walls

Etymology:

  • It is also a very old expression that originated during the era of castles and forts. To attack inside a fort it was necessary to get inside by climbing the walls. The walls were long and strong and it was a tedious task for the soldiers to enter the fort and continue with fighting. Today, this hectic task is compared with a situation that becomes frustrating for someone and they require immediate relief.
