Drive You Crazy

To force someone into a state of anger and mental instability; to make someone very frustrated

Etymology:

  • This expression originated back in America in the 20th century. In this expression, to "drive" means to be in power of a current condition. Therefore, if someone does something so frustrating that tend you to become angry and mad, then you're being driven "crazy".
