Hand-to-Mouth Existence

Etymology:

• This saying was used by writers in the 16th century. Just imagine, what happen when a starving person given a food, he wishes he could safe some food for later, but as he is too much hungry, he would eat the whole. Each piece of food will go directly from his hand to mouth. Nowadays, a person who lives a life in which he /she spends every single penny earned and it is hard to save anything for future, we refer this idiom for such people.
