Mind over Matter

Etymology:

• This expression has been used by a famous poet, Virgil, in his poem “The Aeneid”. In the expression the word “mind” is used to show the willpower or thought process. In this idiom, the word “matter” is defined as any physical object that causes some difficulty or issue. Thus the idiom means that a difficulty can be overcome through the willpower. It is also worth noting that the starting consonant for both the words is “m”.
