Sling Hash

Etymology:

• This is a 19th century phrase that refers to a kind of job. It is noticing in small, cheap restaurants and Inns, the waiters and waitresses did not serve or present the food properly and elegantly. They just seemed to throwing plates and other dishes of cheap items such as browned meat, potatoes and bread on the tables in a careless manner. Today there are several places where attendants or waitrons still sling hash.
