Swan Song

Etymology:

• Swan has been used in Greek myth and even Shakespeare has used it in his poetry. Swan is considered a mute or silent in many references that only sings or utters something just about to take its last breath. Although nothing happens as such with any swan as they make sounds and live, Ttoday anyone’s last words are called swan song. Thus anyone presenting his last speech or giving farewell is called as he is giving his or her swan song.
