  • An English humorist of the mid 19th came up with the idea of this expression. It’d be a bit difficult for you to say something if your tongue is in your cheek. Poking the cheek is often done by people whenever they’re willing to show their expression of insincere remarks and kidding act. It is basically an expression of the face that means kidding or joke.
